Established in 1915 by a collective of visionary sportsmen, Rockaway River Country Club began as a modest nine-hole golf course. Over a century of stewardship has transformed those inaugural fairways into a premier eighteen-hole championship golf course. Today, the club - affectionately known as "The Rock" - stands as a cornerstone of New Jersey, sporting tradition, offering a refined, yet family-centric sanctuary, where generations come to belong.

Our racquets facilities, including four Har-Tru tennis and four platform tennis courts, cater to the competitive and social player alike, while our secluded pool complex offers a private summer retreat with casual poolside fare. With both curated youth and adult programming, we provide a comprehensive club experience designed for every generation.
